The jQuery UI Menu widget provides a rich set of options to add callback functions to perform different types of actions when certain types of event occurs.

The table below has a list of configurable options that can be used to accept executable function when an event occurs.

Event Description
Menucreate Event in the fired when the menu is created
Menuselect Event is fired when the menu item is selected.
Menufocus Event is triggered when the menu gains focus or when a menu item is activated
Menublur Event is triggered when the menu loses focus.

jQuery UI Menu Widget : Binding Events

In the demo, we use the on() method and then bind events like Menuselect , Menufocus and Menublur.
