To specify whether a new page should begin before an element.

1. The CSS page-break-before property is used to specify whether one or multiple page breaks can be inserted before an element

2.It is used to ensure that heading for different sections of a long page each appear at the top portion of the print page.

Value Description
auto To leave it to the browser to decide where to insert a page break. It the default value
always To enforce a page break before or after the specified element
avoid To avoid having a page break, if possible
left To enforce one or multiple page breaks before or after an element, such that the page is formatted as a left page.
right To enforce one or multiple page breaks before or after an element, such that the page is formatted as a right page.
inherit To inherit properties of the parent element
