To get a better control over the font-size


Definition and Notes.

1. The CSS font-size-adjust property allows you have a better control over the size of the font, if the first specified font is unavailable

2.When a specified font is not available, the browser applies the next available font. This can cause a sharp rise in font-size, to prevent such a conditon use the font-size-adjust property

3. For any font, 'aspect value' is the size difference between a lowercase 'x' and an uppercase 'X'.Using this aspect-value, the browser figures out what font-size to apply if the first specified font is not available.
