Use CSS to control the visibility of elements.


CSS Visibility

value Description
visible The element is visible. This the default value.
hidden The element is hidden but not removed from the layout of the document
collapse The element is hidden and removed from the layout of the document

Visibility:

1. The visibility of any element can be controlled using CSS visibility property

The value for visibility property are as follows

visible : The element is visible. Its the default value

hidden : The element is hidden and even child elements are hidden. But the layout remains unaffected.

collapse : The element is hidden and does not occupy space in the page layout.

Javascript can be used to create enhanced effects using visbility property
